Wedding Invitation Foiling – Foiled Wedding Invitations

We can do two types of Foiling.

Block Foiling and Digital Foiling

BLOCK FOILING (expensive)

Block Foiling is used if you require Textured Card or Pre Printed Card or an Invitation that has a background in it.
(Advantages of Block Foiling, can be used on basically any card stock, you can also get a Letterpress effect)
Block Foiling requires an expensive magnesium block to be made (can not be changed once approved).
Can also Block Foil up to 540gsm card.

There are limited colours of foil – about 15 Available.
The other limitation is you can’t have individual guest names foiled.
Also you can not order extra invitations afterwards.

If you have multiple areas that need foiling there will be multiple blocks(gets very expensive)

DIGITAL FOILING (economy)

Digital Foiling has limitations, you are limited to which card stocks you can foil onto:
White Gloss |  White Matt  |  Blue Matt  |  Black Matt  |  Burgundy Matt  |  Cream Matt  |  Polar Dawn Metallic

Gold or Silver Foiling – Can print over and around colour text or pictures (a lot more flexible)
Rose Gold Foiling  –  You can not have foil near other text or pictures – must be well clear. Up to 350gsm Card.

   

 

 

PLUS there will an artwork charge to design your invitation.

OR you can have your designer supply the artwork print ready – and also have FOIL area – Artwork Ready.

Please be very careful when arranging foiling, that you have the correct artwork prior to going to print and/or foiling.
As any errors after proofing will be at your cost. i.e. NEW BLOCK made, new printing, new foiling.
